Garrett Barger
Garrett is a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) currently serving clients in Nash and Wayne counties. With over three years of experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), he was initially drawn to this profession by witnessing the profound impact ABA can have on a child's life.
Garrett earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology from NC Wesleyan and holds a master’s degree in applied behavior analysis from Ball State University, where he also obtained certificates in Applied Behavior Analysis and Autism. He is actively working towards his certification as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Passionate about his clients’ interests, Garrett prioritizes incorporating their unique preferences into each session. He believes in the importance of doing your best and is committed to helping children and families achieve their personal definitions of success. He values even the smallest milestones, recognizing that every step forward is worthy of celebration.
In addition to his work, Garrett aims to inspire hope and encouragement in families whenever possible. Outside of his professional commitments, he enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, serving his church, and exploring the great outdoors. His hobbies include music, photography, bird watching, hunting, and hiking.
