Karina Hernandez

Karina has been a valued part of the Impact team since 2022, serving as a Registered Behavior Technician in Wayne County. She holds an associate’s degree in Human Services Technology and brings a deep commitment to helping children thrive through consistency, compassion, and evidence-based support.

Originally from Wilson, NC, Karina was drawn to the field of ABA because she truly enjoys being a part of each child’s daily life — from celebrating small wins to providing steady support through everyday challenges. For her, the most rewarding part of this work is seeing the progress her clients make over time and knowing that the care she provides plays a meaningful role in their growth.

Karina brings a calm, patient presence and a genuine passion for supporting children and families. Her ability to build trust and connection with clients allows her to create a safe, encouraging environment where meaningful progress can happen. She's dependable, team-oriented, and always eager to grow in her practice — qualities that make her a strong asset to both her team and the families she serves.

Outside of her work at Impact, Karina enjoys outdoor runs, spending time in nature, and exploring new restaurants whenever she gets the chance. Her natural energy, warmth, and dedication make her a wonderful teammate and a trusted presence in the lives of the families she supports.
